Notice.

Slipstream Careers handles your information carefully and keeps things simple: what is collected exists to answer your message and deliver the service you ordered, nothing more. No data is sold, and there is no marketing list you get added to by contacting us.

Effective 26 July 2026 · Questions or requests: slipstreamcareers@gmail.com

01 · What Is Collected

Only what you send

  • Contact form submissions: your name, email, university and degree, target companies and roles, and your message
  • Documents you send by email for a review: your CV, cover letters and application responses
  • Purchase information handled by the payment platforms when you buy a product or service
  • Standard technical logs kept by the website hosting provider
02 · How It Is Used

To reply and to deliver

Your information is used to reply to your enquiry, process your order, and deliver the service you have bought, which for reviews means reading and giving feedback on the documents you send. That is the legal basis for handling it: performing the contract you have asked for, and the legitimate interest of running the business. Your documents are never shared with anyone else, never used as examples for other clients, and never used for anything beyond your own service.

03 · Who Processes It

The platforms behind the service

Slipstream Careers runs on a small set of established platforms, each of which processes data under its own privacy terms: Netlify hosts the website and receives contact form submissions, Google handles email, Gumroad processes digital product purchases as the merchant of record, and Stripe and Calendly handle payments and session bookings for services where used. Payment card details go directly to the payment platforms and are never seen or stored by Slipstream Careers.

04 · How Long It Is Kept

As long as needed, no longer

Enquiries are kept as normal email correspondence. Documents sent for a review are kept while the service is being delivered and for a short period afterwards in case of follow-up questions, then deleted. You can ask for your documents and information to be deleted at any time by emailing slipstreamcareers@gmail.com, and records are removed unless something must be kept for legal or accounting reasons.

05 · Your Rights

Under UK data protection law

You have the right to ask what information is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to or restrict how it is used. To use any of these rights, email slipstreamcareers@gmail.com. If you are not happy with how a request is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
